The project y Gabriella Grasso Silver Tango, was born from the experiment with the fusion between tango and the Sicilian tradition by creating a mix of emotion and artistic experience, enlivened by the astonishing similarities harmonics, where the emphasis is clearly on history that unites these two nations, Argentina and Sicily, lived in close but geographically distant, in roots and in feeling.
The repertoire is based on the reconstruction of tracks is the most famous tango that the Sicilian tradition, developed in an original arrangement for the selection of tools, interchangeable, and for harmonic solutions adopted. The project
is further developed through the creation of original music composed by singer / songwriter Gabriella Grasso Catania and successful collaboration with Denis Marino, extraordinary musician of great taste and sophistication, enriched by the encounter in Paris with Marisa Mercado (Gothan Project, Contempo Trio, Casares) who married in Sicily for the project and will record the acoustic record and take to the concert tour.
